Blue Hour

Views of the city of Vienna
from the hills of the Vienna Woods in the 13th district.
The large yellow building
in the center is Schönbrunn Palace.

In the far distance,
the Kirche am Steinhof
(St. Leopold's Church, 14th District).

I took these pictures today at around 5 pm,
from the meadows next to the "Wildsau Inn".
Here
a map which shows you the location.

  1. I would love to have that view, just stunning. And snow, oh to just see the snow.

  2. Seems another beautiful part of the world.

I think we are very fortunate to be able to enjoy them!

    Thanks Merisi.

  3. It was Friday at dusk and I was in dire need of some fresh air after a week without and that spot is very beautiful and serene.
I don't think any tourist ever treads there (the location of the inn is too bucolic and the cuisine at the Lindwurm restaurant on the other side of the meadows too laid back to earn any accolades from the gourmands), yet it offers one of the most beautiful vistas of the city of Vienna.
