Reflections

Fleischmarkt

Griechenkirche
The Greek Orthodox Church of St. George
Fleischmarkt

Reaching Fleischmarkt from Griechengasse,
if the sun's in the right position,
you see first the reflection of the church
in the windows of the building opposite it,
while the church is to your left,
right beyond the arch you can see in the
"Griechengasse to Fleischmarkt" image in the previous post,
and the well-known "Griechenbeisl" restaurant.

I love the way you show us the reflections before showing the church itself.

I was in town with Marta today and I realised I have started to see my town in new light after reading your blog daily for months now. Thanks Merisi for giving me a new pair of glasses :-)

    Reflections are my macarons.
    I could eat them up.

You would soon get indigestion, there are so many possibilies to lap up reflections in Vienna! :-)

I must confess, I haven't even entered the church yet (usually rushing by, stopped in my track only by a good photo opportunity *g*). I will give it a try, though.

    Gypsy Purple:
    Glad to see you back!

    Rochambeau:
