  1. You are an artist to capture the exact moments. It is my daily pleasure to come over to your blog.

  2. I had to look up Lipizzaner on google. I learnt something new!
I love the photo of the two little girls and their matching dresses and pigtails.
I think this group of photos, illustrates summer beautifully.

  3. I love the way you captured those pink-dressed "twins" walking in harmony.
I think this post should be called "Summer moods in the City" because you've caught that exact moment that means so much.
    I love "Lingering after Lunch".
    So full of poetry.

  4. Have you ever seen the Lipizzaners working? I've always wanted to but each time they come to Britain I haven't been able to get there.

Thank you for all the comments on my compost heap (and associated ramblings from Maalie and others!). I think your idea of popping over the Austria for cake and coffee is excellent!

  6. That Rogerspam person is obviously doing the rounds. I just deleted him. Did you? I first thought 'hooray' too, but then realized we was just flogging his stuff via our blogsites! Cheeky!

  7. The Happy Hour picture looks so relaxing and grown-up. After a day of kids, that picture makes me want to have a "grown-up" conversation and drink!

  9. BRITT-ARNHILD:
I am glad that you enjoy the spirit of this blog, "un'invitation au voyage", albeit an imaginary one, in the spirit of Charles Baudelaire's poem, "Là, tout n'est qu'ordre et beauté,
    Luxe, calme et volupté."
Not that I can promise "order, bauty, luxury, peace, and pleasure", as the poet does, but at least for some of that spirit I'd love to strive:
    Mon enfant, ma soeur,
    Songe à la douceur ...
    (My child, my sister,
    Think of the rapture ...)

    LETIZIA:
    Thank you for telling me!
I shall try to post one day more about these magnificent horses.

    Thank you, CREAM,
    you are most generous!
The instant I saw the twins walking in front of me, I knew I had to capture their image (one of those days I will be arrested for sneaking up on people).

    LORENZOTHELLAMA:
I deleted Rogers also, I didn't want my visitors to click on his link and get inondated with spam.
(If you need any help with finding a place to serve cake to a 100plus persons, please do not hesitate to contact me. *giggle*)

    HEXE:
I too love the Happy Hour there. Haven't managed to sneak one there since early July. ;-(

    MELANIE:
Thank you. I love summers in the city, when I can feel as if I own the town. :-)
